Meet the team
We started out as a group of composers, songwriters and musicians who made music for ourselves and our fans. Then we got better and we started creating music for other artists, films, TV shows and commercials. But as we got older (and needed to make more money) we became music supervisors and we were now the ones looking for great music instead of creating it.
How we started
There were plenty of tools and software to help us make music but nothing to help us find it. So we built a state of the art search engine. Every way you could search for music was in this software. It was fantastic but there was one problem - we didn't have enough music to make it work.
First we reached out to all of our talented friends. Not enough music. Then we called all of the independent labels and publishers we had ever worked with and got music from them. Still we needed more. So we spent five years travelling the globe going to every music conference from Midem in France to SXSW in Austin.
And finally YES it worked we now had great music and a great way to find it.
We have over 250,000 tracks created by over 16,000 artists and we currently place a song in a project every 72 hours.
Over the last ten years we have licensed thousands of songs in hundreds of projects. In fact every major film company and TV show has licensed music from us using our music licensing platform at musicsupervisor.com.

We have been helping music supervisors and filmmakers find great new music and now we want to do the same thing for everyone else.
WeGet Music is being built by people who make music for the people who love it. We know that there is great music being created by independent artists and labels, and believe we have constructed some of the most fun and creative ways for you to discover it!
We also believe that the performers, songwriters, musicians, producers, and engineers should be fairly paid for the music they create. Music is the soundtrack to all our lives. It reminds us of our first kiss or the last time we danced. Music may set us free but it is not free.
